Land Planning
For the past 8 years I have worked as a Land Planner in a city planning and landscape architecture firm and my projects range from client to client. All the projects featured below are in collaboration with Pharis Design in Austin, TX.
Overall Site Plans
Anthem is a 422-acre master-planned community in Kyle, TX. At full build-out, Anthem will contain approximately 1400 single-family homes, an Elementary School, and an Amenity Center. There is an extensive trail system connecting all the open spaces.
My role in the project involved assisting with the layout of the western portion of the master plan and the cottages. I also created the rendered site plan for marketing and client packages.
Longview is a Taylor Morrison community located in Del Valle, TX. It has an expansive open space network and is a project I am proud to say I was able to help out on from the very beginning. I have had numerous roles on this team: laying out street networks, brainstorming pocket park programming, creating packages for Public Improvement District (PID) requests, and creating illustrative renders.
Supporting Exhibits
Open space networks are very important to my work and we like to create exhibits detailing how they will integrate into a master planned community as a whole.
Layout for how a potential ride share spot would fit within a community
Street sections are one of my favorite exhibits to create because you get a sense for how a design works with the topography of your site.
Signage and Wayfinding
I had the pleasure of helping our Landscape Architecture team put together potential signage concepts for Preservation Ranch, a beautiful community in the Texas Hill Country.
